Each year Super Lawyers® Magazine compiles a list of lawyers in Massachusetts who have achieved a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The attorneys are selected by peer nomination, independent research and peer evaluation. Annually, no more than five (5%) percent of the lawyers in Massachusetts are selected by the Super Lawyer research team to receive this honor.
The selection process for the Rising Stars list is the same as the Super Lawyers selection process, with one exception: to be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Additionally, while up to five percent of the lawyers in Massachusetts are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.
The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (“NAELA”) is a professional association of attorneys who are dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to seniors and people with special needs. The Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA is the oldest and largest chapter in the country with over 500 members.
This year, Eric was one of only twenty-one MassNAELA members who were selected as 2014 Massachusetts Super Lawyers® in the area of Elder Law and Ashley was one of only five members recognized as rising stars!
Oalican Law Group’s motto is “Protecting What’s Important”. As the above recognition indicates, we remain committed to specializing only in estate and asset protection for Massachusetts families.
